When I was seven years old.

What do you love about student ministry?

I love the time in life that students are in. The teenage years are when students are really starting to figure out the world and who they are. I love that as they are starting to shape themselves to become the men and women that they want to be I can be there to help show them how to become Godly men and women. I also love just how crazy and fun students are.

What is your life verse?

“I love this verse because it talks about how God does not give us a spirit of fear. I used to have a lot more fears than I do now, but I still have a few fears that can be pretty crippling. This verse has helped me in multiple situations with those fears and reminded me about the power over fear I have through God’s spirit.” ~ 2 Timothy 1:7

Most embarrassing moment

One time I was playing with a band, and I had a lead guitar line that I was supposed to play. This was a line that only sounded good if the rest of the band was playing behind it. They did in practice but for the actual set they dropped out. I still had to play the line though because the rest of the band was relying on that for the timing. So I played the line and just tried not to show on my face how bad we all knew it sounded.
