SCRIPTURES THAT LEAD TO SALVATION: • Romans 3:23 – All have sinned and fall short of God’s standard. (I believe I am a sinner.) • Romans 6:23 – The penalty for sin is death. • Romans 5:6-8 – While we were sinners Christ died for us. (I believe God sent his Son, Jesus, to die for my sins.) • 1 Corinthians 15:3-5 – Jesus beat death by rising from the dead. (I believe Jesus conquered death, which is the penalty for sin, by being raised from the dead.) • Romans 10:9-10 – We must confess Christ in order to be saved. (I confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.)
